What does an average move cost? Most moves cost between $1200 and $3500 for our services. We explain your options, and determine the most economical way to meet your needs, during our free, no obligation, consultation.
What is included in your fee? This is your move. We will help as little, or as much, as you require. We can provide you with a moving plan, help create a floor plan of your new residence, or maybe you just need a hand sorting your possessions. For clients needing full-service help, we are happy to help you sort and pack, hire and supervise movers, contractors, handymen, painters, and provide any other service you need. If your new residence is in the California Bay Area or a nearby community, we can meet your movers, help with placement of furniture, unpack boxes and help set-up your new household.
What other expenses will I have? We save you time and frustration by helping you locate moving companies, haulers, cleaners, and other service providers. You will also need to purchase packing materials such as boxes and tape. We are happy to obtain these for you.
Is your service covered by Medicare? All services are private pay.

Costs
Choose only the services you need:

- Pre-move sorting: Help you decide what to keep, what to sell, what to donate, and what to discard. We can create a floor plan of your new residence. . . . . minimum one 4 hr. visit . . . . . . . . $185
- Coordinate and supervise your move:** Pack and prepare your items for the move. Typical packing time is 6-10 boxes** per hour. On moving day we supervise the movers. . . . . . . . . . . . minimum one 4 hour visit . . . . . . $185
- Unpack boxes and organize your new residence. We unpack and put away your possessions according to your floor plan, and remove the boxes. minimum one 4 hr. visit . . . . . . . . $185

* boxes are extra. Typically we supply them at a discount cost, and remove them following your move.
** We are not a moving company. We are happy to recommend movers who we have worked with and have confidence in. All are licensed by the PUC, insured and have a clean record with the Better Business Bureau. 2 men and a truck for up to 4 hours costs around $500.
Each visit includes up to 1 hour (50 mi.) of travel time.
